I work in finance and accounting, and my background is in energy economics: how energy markets work, and how they can become more sustainable.

I was born in India, lived in the United Kingdom from 2007 to 2009, and moved to the United States in 2012. I grew up in Houston, a city built around the energy industry. That environment shaped what I chose to study, from agricultural economics at Texas A&M, to energy economics at the University of Houston, to a master’s in energy economics at Rice.
